Tote-and-Go has changed to a MONTHLY program. First Monday of the month, September 8, staff will hand out kits with the following items in each bag. Any items leftover after Wednesday, September 10 at 5 PM, will be up for grabs on a first-come, first-serve basis. This will be determined by our waitlist, which opens on Thursday, September 11, 2025, and ends on Friday, September 12, 2025.
DISCLAIMER: We are currently experiencing an increase of demand on this program. The first registered 50 people, will receive a family art kit. After that, you may be wait-listed or unable to sign up for the kit. The survey will be turned off once we reach our capacity. We will try to accommodate as many as possible.

-Hispanic Heritage Month Tissue Paper Pinata
-Felt Taco
-Embroidery Hoop Sewing craft
-Paracord Snake craft

Registration Required.
Go to each page and register for the date you are interested in.
This program will provide 4-12 items in each bag. This will depend on the date.
We are no longer customizing art kit bags.
Groups:
This program is not designed for Groups.
If you are a group and would like to participate in this public service, please have each family register separately.
Can't Register?
Once Registration is at capacity, you will no longer be able to register for this event.
Waitlist Guests:
If you want to be considered for a kit and cannot register, please place your name on the waitlist.
This is a separate list. Please look for the list above that states "waitlist".
After the event, you will be contacted via email to let you know that the kit is available.
This is a first-come, first-served request.
The waitlist will go in the order in it was received.
We will begin to notify people on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
Walk-ups:
This year, we are not allowing walkups. If you are interested in getting an art kit, please register or sign up on our waitlist.

This event is on Monday, September 8, from 10-1 PM.
Email us at arts@cityofmesquite.com if you are unable to pick up your kit on Monday, September 8 from 10-1 PM.
Once you have sent us an email, your art kit will be placed outside our offices. No email may result in the kit not being able to be picked up at the time you arrive.
Registered guests will have until Wednesday, September 10 at 5 PM to pick up.
