Clouded: Visibility by Ebony Lewis
Please join the Mesquite Arts Council as we celebrate the closing of Clouded: Visibility, a solo exhibition featuring Dallas-based multidisciplinary artist Ebony Lewis.
Clouded: Visibility presents a powerful new body of work that reflects Lewis’s continued exploration of visibility, identity, community, and the intersections of art and education.
Lewis is a multidisciplinary artist with an emphasis in painting. She holds a BFA in Painting from Texas A&M University–Commerce and an M.Ed. Her practice extends beyond the studio through dynamic installations and community-centered projects, including her current work, Rhythm of the City, with the Dallas Museum of Art.
She is also the recipient of the 2022 Juanita Craft Artist Residency at the South Dallas Cultural Center and served as curator for the 2025 Dallas Aurora Video Art Night exhibition.
