This exhibition brings together artists whose practices explore the ways we remember, honor, and carry the people, stories, and experiences that shape us. Presented in the context of Día de los Muertos, the exhibition considers the broader and deeply human experience of remembrance through family histories, ancestry, personal narratives, objects, places, loss, and inherited memory. Together, the works ask us to consider how memories are preserved, transformed, and passed forward, and how art can become a vessel for stories that we are unwilling to forget. At the heart of the exhibition is a simple question: What do we hold onto when we don’t want to forget?
