Homeschool Hangout: Sugar Skull Paper Craft
The Mesquite Arts Center and Mesquite Public Library are partnering to bring creative, cultural experiences to families at the Main Library.
On September 17, Mesquite Arts Center staff will join the Homeschool Hangout in the Children’s Section of the Main Library to kick off the celebration of Latin Heritage Month.
Families are invited to learn more about the cultural traditions surrounding Día de los Muertos and the Mesquite Arts Center’s 10th Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration, coming this fall.
At 12 p.m., participants will create a Sugar Skull Paper Craft inspired by the colorful calavera designs traditionally associated with Día de los Muertos.
This family-friendly activity is an opportunity to explore culture, creativity, and art through hands-on learning.
