The Mesquite Arts Council is expanding its arts education initiatives by highlighting local artists and cultural center partners through a new virtual artist series running January through December 2026. This program broadens access to the arts by featuring virtual artists and nonprofit organizations who share their skills, creative processes, and cultural perspectives with the community.

New episodes will be released every other month on the Mesquite Arts Center YouTube channel, providing free, accessible arts programming for residents of all ages.

Featured Artist: Nell Langford

This month’s program highlights Nell Langford, a local artist from the Tin District. Nell will demonstrate how to create a burlap artwork inspired by her signature style, guiding participants through the process step by step.
