Tote-and-Go Instructional Videos | Recyclable Bugs
The Mesquite Arts Center is expanding its Tote-and-Go program with instructional "short" videos designed to accompany the monthly take-home art kits. These videos feature local artists who guide participants through creative projects using the materials included in each kit.
This month, local artist Shamsy Roomiani leads participants in creating “recycled bug” sculptures using recyclable materials. Follow along with Shamsy on YouTube and see how many imaginative “creepy-crawler” friends you can create!
These instructional videos encourage creativity, hands-on learning, and creative reuse while making it easier for families to enjoy the arts together at home.
